JOHN PUTNAM

John David Putnam, 75, formerly of Maywood, Mo., died November 23, 2015 in Sunset Home, Quincy, Ill.

He was born on January 4, 1940 in Monroe City, Mo., the son of Paul and Mary Riggs Putnam. He married Judith Ann "Judy" Hughes on August 5, 1965 in Quincy, Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2014.

John was a farmer who lived his life on a tractor. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting and tractor pulls.

Survivors included a daughter, Beth Ann Rost of Quincy; a son, Brad (Jill) Putnam of Maywood, Mo.; five grandchildren, Haley, Carley, and Molley Rost, and Eli and Jackson Putnam; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, John was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Billy Joe Putnam.

Graveside Services were held November 25, 2015 at Greenmount Cemetery. Burial was inGreenmount Cemetery
