JERRY OTT

Jerry Dean Ott, 68, of La Grange, Missouri, died March 28, 2020 at his home.

The son of Lee and Betty Rankin Ott was born on November 8, 1951 at Keokuk, Iowa.

Jerry loved and adored his grandkids.  He would give you the shirt off his back.  He liked to go fishing and mushroom hunting.

He is survived by his daughter, Julianne (Ethan) Messer of Monroe City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Joseph and Aleah Messer; three sisters, Joyce (Jr.) Barnes of Alexandria, Mo., Donna Kunkel of La Grange, Mo. and Wanda Harmon of Revere, Mo.; two brothers, Elmer Ott of Canton, Mo. and Carl Ott of Keokuk, Ia.; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sister, Jane White and Ellen Tate, and five brothers, Kenny, Larry, Willie, Gary and Melvin Ott.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date at Bluff Springs Cemetery near Canton, Missouri.
