Charles W. “Chuck” Webster, 79 of Canton, Missouri, died June 18, 2019 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

The son of Elmer Roscoe and Helen Naomi (Dice) Webster was born on May 12, 1940 at Good Hope, Illinois.

He was united in marriage to Sharon Kay Lay on October 26, 1963 at the Lewistown Christian Church in Lewistown, Missouri.

Chuck was a member of Providence Baptist Church near Williamstown, Missouri. He worked at many places in Canton and Quincy and was a jack of all trades and mastered them all.  He was a concealed carry instructor and a member of Indian Creek Muzzleloaders and founded Crooked Creek Muzzleloaders.  He liked being outdoors, hunting, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers.  He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Kay Webster of Canton, Mo.; two sons, Scott (Paula) Webster of Quincy, Il. and Sean (Stacey) Webster of Palmyra, Mo.; three grandchildren, Nicholas Webster, Victoria Webster and Jacob Webster; sister, Anna (Alan) Schork of Maquoketa, Ia.; two sister-in-laws, Leola Webster of Hannibal, Mo. and Margie Webster of Lewistown, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Garland, Floyd and Roderick Webster.

Funeral services were held June 22, 2019 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. James Leezer officiating. Pallbearers: Eric Lay, Dale Stice, Aaron Lay, Enos Eichor, Eli Yutzy, Richie Hudnut and Mike Webster. Honorary Pallbearers: Nicholas Webster, Victoria Webster and Jacob Webster. Burial was in the Ballard Cemetery in rural Neeper, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Providence Baptist Church, Blessing Cancer Center or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
