PEGGY PHILLIPS

Mrs. Peggy Joan Phillips, 84 of Lewistown Missouri died Monday, October 26, 2015 at Blessing hospital in Quincy Illinois.

She was born Tuesday, June 9, 1931 in Monticello, Missouri, the daughter of William Bruce Sr., and Helen (Burford) Anderson.

She was united in marriage to Aubrey Leland Phillips on June 27, 1953.

Peggy was a member Park United Methodist Church of Lewistown, Missouri. She was employed by the ASCS in Monticello, Missouri, served as a board member for the Bank of Monticello, and was a member of the Monticello Order of the Eastern Star 383.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Leland Phillips of Lewistown, Mo.; three children, Mitch (Faith) Phillips of San Tan Valley AZ, Michelle Phillips of Shelbyville, TN, and Melissa (Steve) Pflantz of St. Louis, Mo. Also surviving are six grandchildren, William Phillips, Lucas Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Alicia Pflantz, Nathan Pflantz, Thanuel Pflantz, and a great grandson Tyler Rhode: one sister, Colleen Anderson of Quincy, IL, one sister-in-law Shirley Anderson of Yuma, AZ, and many Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William Anderson and Terry Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Arnolds Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Elsie McNeil officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Arnolds Funeral Home in Lewistown. Pallbearers: William Phillips, Lucas Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Alicia Pflantz, Nathan Pflantz and Thanuel Pflantz.

Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Park United Methodist Church of Lewistown.
