PHILLIP BINKLEY

Phillip L. “Phil” Binkley, 67 of Lewistown, Missouri died April 6, 2019 at his home in Lewistown.

The son of James Lawrence and Leta May VanSickle Binkley was born on Wednesday, October 31, 1951 at Kirksville, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Lynn Franks on February 1, 1975 at the First Baptist Church of Lewistown, Missouri. She preceded him in death on June 28, 1998.

Phil attended the First Assembly of God Church at Ewing. He drove a semi-truck for Harold Wood Trucking for many years. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, bowling and putting models together.

He is survived by his children, Leeann (Jason) Scott of Newark, Mo., Eric Binkley (Marjie Oilar) of Kahoka, Mo. and Heather (Jeff) Frans of West Valley, Utah; five grandchildren, Bobbie (Chris) Scott, Katelyn Scott, Nick Scott, Kassy Scott and Kylie Binkley; three sisters, Linda (Link) Maggert of Kirksville, Mo., Sandra Bradshaw of LaBelle, Mo. and Rita (Wayne) Myers of Lewistown, Mo.; aunt, Roseann Klote of Edina, Mo.; uncle, Dale Lee Binkley of California; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Kenny Binkley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating. Visitation was held April 9 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown. Pallbearers: Nick Scott, Juston Bradshaw, Joe Chatlain, Jason Scott, Chris Bruns and Jamie Myers. Honorary Pallbearers: Link Maggert, Wayne Myers, John Jett and Jim Primm

Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.
