LEE AND DONA SAVAGE

Lee H. Savage, 88 of LaBelle, Missouri died October 6, 2015 at the LaBelle Manor Care Center.

The son of Wesley and Alice (Memke) Savage was born on June 7, 1927 near Williamstown, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Dona L. Sedelmeier on February 5, 1950 at Williamstown, Missouri. She preceded him death on December 19, 2011.

Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaBelle. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Monticello Lodge #58 A.F. & A.M. He farmed in Lewis County for many years and liked to garden, fish and hunt.

He is survived by three sons, Jimmy Lee Savage and wife Sue of Ada, Oklahoma, Steve Daniel Savage and Donna Kunkel of Keokuk, Iowa and Davey Joe Savage of Chicago, Illinois; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Willard J. Savage and wife Nadine of Warsaw, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister, Gladys Tague.

Graveside funeral services for Lee and his wife Dona were held October 12, 2015 in the Providence Cemetery near Williamstown, Missouri with Rev. James Renot officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
