JAMES NUNN

James Arthur Nunn, 65 of Lewistown, Missouri, died January 30, 2019 at his home in Lewistown.

The son of William Arthur and Betty Scott Nunn was born on April 14, 1953 at Hoopeston, Illinois.

He was united in marriage to Norma D. Persinger. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2019.

Jim liked fishing, truck driving, making people laugh and he was avid card player. In his younger years he played in pool leagues.

He is survived by his mother, Betty McGraw of Lewistown, Mo.; four children, Retha McColez of Quincy, Il., Arthur Nunn of Columbus, Il.; Stephanie Nunn of Virginia and Lydia Witsman of Decatur, Il.; grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jo Austin of Lewistown, Mo. and Annie Helfrich of Palmyra, Mo.; step-sisters, Sharon Barger of Quincy, Il. and Norma Hohensee of Maryland; several half brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his father, wife, sister, Sherry Mayfield.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will held at a later date.
