ALFRED LEESER

Alfred Melvin Leeser, 80, a resident of Hixson, Tenn., died September 4, 2018.  He was born July 10, 1938, the son of Earl and Edna Mae Tatje Leeser. After graduating in the class of 1956 from LaGrange High School in LaGrange, Missouri, he joined the United States Air Force where he served his country faithfully from March 1957 until March 1961.  He later retired after 18 years of service from Prairie Farms as a Sales Associate.

Mr. Leeser was a member of Soddy Daisy Church of God where he was part of the Primetimers.  Alfred was also a member of the AARP 4863 and active with the Soddy Daisy Senior Neighbors. 

Survivors include his children, Daniel Earl of Atlanta, GA and Frank (Rosemary) Leeser of New Castle, DE; Sister, Mary Elizabeth Jennens of Miamisburg, OH; sister in law Joann Leeser of La Grange, MO, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Leeser and Edna Mae Tatje Leeser; his loving wife, Retta Frances Leeser and daughter, Alice Marie. Mr. Leeser was also preceded in death by brothers, Earl Joe Leeser, George Leeser, William Leeser, James Leeser; and sister, Louise Leeser Lawson; sisters in law, Pamela (Earl Joe) Leeser, Mary (George) Leeser, Betty (James) Leeser.
