LaGrange Appreciation Day Features Confederate Railroad

LaGrange Appreciation Day is July Fourth and this year the country band Confederate Railroad will headline the free concert. Confederate Railroad has many hits, including I Like Trashy Women, Daddy Never was the Cadillac Kind, Elvis and Andy, Queen of Memphis, She Never Cried and many other hits. The band Black Top South will perform before Confederate Railroad. The Press-News Journal will have a contest to win backstage passes to meet the members of Confederate Railroad, details on the contest and other events will be announced in upcoming editions.

Other events include inflatable games for the kids, the Lions Club will serve food and a “I Like Trashy Women” contest featuring local males competing for their local charities. LaGrange City Hall has LaGrange Appreciation Day t-shirts available for purchase.

Everyone is welcome to be in the parade, contact LaGrange City Hall. Both bands will perform after the parade and before the annual fireworks display.
