BARBARA WARNING BRIGHT

Barbara Jean Warning Bright, age 57, of Canton, Mo. formerly of LaGrange, Mo., died August 12, 2015. Barbara was born September 10, 1957, the daughter of John and Dorothy Warning of La Grange, Mo. She married James Bright on June 14, 2002, in Savannah, Mo. He survives.

Barbara was a 1975 graduate of Highland High School. She had been employed with home health care as a care taker for the elderly. Barbara was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Canton. She will be remembered as a staunch Republican who always spoke her mind. Barbara enjoyed music, animals and antiques.

In addition to her husband, survivors include: her mother; four sisters: Linda (John) Kelly; Sharon (Joe) Fraind of Georgia; Sue (Gary) Meller of Middletown, Iowa, and Diane (Joe) Morrey of St. Joseph, Mo.; three brothers: John Warning of N.C.; James (Dianna) Warning of LaGrange, Mo.; and Daniel Warning of LaGrange, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father.

Services were held August 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Daniel Fox officiating. Visitation was held prior to services.
