St. Patrick Missouri Activities

Several activities are planned for St. Patrick’s Day in St. Patrick, Mo., on March 17. The annual road bowling in the town will be held the following week on March 24.

A pictorial cancellation will be available at the St. Patrick, Missouri USA Post Office March 1-31, 2018. The date changes daily. The cancellation will be bordered on two sides with shamrocks, a leprechaun hat, and flute and the words “Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Station, March ___, 2018, Saint Patrick, MO 63466. The St. Patrick Post Office will be open on Saturday, March 17.

The Shrine of St. Patrick will serve coffee and doughnuts at 9 a.m. At 10:45 a.m. an announcement of awards for the 5 K race will be made. Roger and Aaron Watson, a father and son combo, will provide live Irish music at 11 a.m. Roast beef dinner will be served from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the church basement. Ages five and under eat free. Tours of the church and museum will be conducted between noon and 2 p.m. Throughout the day grab bags will be available for purchase. Envelopes, postcards, religious goods and souvenirs will be available all day in the church basement. A silent auction of items to bid on and a raffle with prizes will be offered. The Daughters of Isabella will have a bake sale. Fr. Christopher Aubuchon will celebrate Mass at the Shrine of St. Patrick at 4 p.m.

At the Old Irish Gift Shop activities included give aways beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing each hour through 2 p.m. Amish baked good will be offered all day. Leprechaun games include a Blarney Stone hunt at 1 p.m., sack race at 1:30 and other games. Irish leprechauns Thunderous McMuffin and Tator McDoodles will make appearances.

The St.Patrick Post Office celebrates 160 years. Everyone is invited to attend the activities.
