JOY ROSE OTTO

Joy Rose Otto, age 76, of Quincy, Ill., August 3, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born June 21 1939 in Williamstown, Mo., a daughter of James L. and Edna Bates McClain. She was married to Edmond Howell Otto.

She enjoyed word search puzzles, outdoor activities, socializing with others, embroidering and quilting.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Gioviannia of Washington, IA and Tonya (Dale) Dandridge of Bowling Green, MO; two granddaughters, Jessica Lynnette Otto of Roseville, IL and Kaitlyn Marie Dandridge of Bowling Green; great granddaughter, Thea Marie Otto of Roseville, IL; three nephews, Donnie, Denny and Kenny McClain all of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Wolf, two brothers, Henry and Bates McClain.

Funeral services were held August 8, 2015 at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. James Lackey officiating. Music: Amazing Grace These Chains are Gone, I Can face Tomorrow, The Old Rugged Cross and In Christ Alone.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery near Williamstown.

The family suggests memorials be made to the donors choice.
