GREG EAST

Gregory Alan East, 60 of Hannibal, Missouri and formerly of LaGrange, died August 4, 2015 at the Lewis County Nursing Home at Canton. ???The son of Glenn L. and Betty L. (Smith) East was born September 22, 1954 in Quincy, Illinois. ??Greg was a member of the Dover Baptist Church. He worked for Knapheide Manufacturing in Quincy, Illinois and was a member of Machinist Lodge 822. He liked to be outdoors, fishing and hunting. ???He is survived by a son, Eric East of Canton, Mo.; a granddaughter, Layla East; brother, Gary East and wife Jana of Lutz, Florida; sister, Lori Rossiter and husband Tim of Ewing, Mo.; niece, Jessica Cox of Ewing, Mo.; and he had two step-sons, Randy Wheeler of Quincy, Il. and David Wheeler of Palmyra, Mo. ???He was preceded in death by his parents. ??Graveside funeral services was held August 8, 2015 at the Dover Cemetery-Selves Addition with Rev. Brian Stone officiating. ?Visitation was held August 7 at Arnolds Funeral Home in Canton, Mo. ??In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Educational Fund for Layla East.
