KARLIE SUE KING

Karlie Sue King, age 15, of Canton, Mo., died November 29, 2017 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born August 31, 2002 a daughter of Charles Davis and Michelle Lee Lowe King.

Karlie was a special girl with an infectious smile and freckles that could melt the hardest steel.. She had eyes that could light up a room. She loved crafts and would randomly give them to other people. She loved animals especially her dogs Sasha, Howie and Hoss. Karlie enjoyed her time spent at Canton First Baptist youth group and liked to share pocket bibles with people. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she liked spending time outdoors. She was grateful for her care and loved all of her Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers at Children’s Hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith and member of the Canton R-V Ninth grade class.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Michelle King of Canton; two sisters, Lissa Jean and her twin sister, Kaylie Michelle King both of Canton; grandparents, Connie King of Branson, Mo., and Mike and Cheryl Lowe of La Grange; great grandfather, Bob Meyer of Canton; aunts, Tanya King of Branson, Heidi (Darrin) Kline of Quincy and Brandy (Tony) Rocchio of St. Louis, Mo; cousins, Alexander King of Branson, Alec and Reese Kline of Quincy and Rosie Rocchio of St. Louis, MO and special best friend, Tatiyana Gail and many great aunts and uncles along with great great aunts and uncles and many cousins and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Melissa Lowe, grandfather, Karl King, great grandparents, Gene and Flossie Foust, Betty Meyer, Donald Lowe, Charles and Eva Lock and great grandpa and grandma King.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Canton with Pastor Jeff Serafin and Pastor Brian Stone officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Canton.

Pallbearers will be: Raven Harrison, John Foust, Darrin Kline, Tony Rocchio, Chris Buss and Tina Birck.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kaylie King, Lissa King, Makinze Gerdes, Tatiyana Gail, Izzy Hibbard, Julia Varner, Canton R-V Class of 2021 and Owen Holloway.

Music: “Go Rest High on that Mountain” by Ryiash Jacquemin and Sarah Sparrow, “I can only Imagine” by Mercy Me and “Fancy” by Reba McEntire

Burial will be in Mark’s Cemetery in La Grange.
