Bonnie Jean Morrall, 77, of the Emerson Community died October 31, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Mrs. Morrall was born April 6, 1940 in Plymouth, Illinois to Harry Arthur and Fairie Mae Myers Bourcard.

She was married to Dwayne M. Morrall on November 13, 1971 at the Philadelphia Baptist Church. He preceded her in death September 30, 2014.

Bonnie attended Warsaw High School in Warsaw, Illinois. She also attended Northeast Missouri State University Secretarial Program.

Mrs. Morrall was retired, working for herself, in house cleaning services. She had formerly worked at Huck Fixture Company as well as Motorola, both in Quincy.

She was a member of the Mission Hill Baptist Church where she was very active with the church's Awana  program as well vacation bible school.  She was a former member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and was a co-founder of the church Awanas.

She loved shopping, browsing antique stores, and traveling around in her Volkswagon Rabbit with her husband Dwayne. She enjoyed wintering in Arizona, tending to her roses and babying her puppy, "Wally".

Bonnie had an amazing memory for names and generations of families in the communities she lived. Her main passions were caring for her church family, Awana kids, and especially her loving grandchildren.

She was a most loving, charitable, hard worker donating her time and vibrant mother, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include sons, Jay (Sue) Garrelts, Palmyra, Bruce (Theresa) Morrall, Ewing, Mo, Anthony (Paula) Morrall, Canton, Mo; brother, Bob (Lynn) Bourcard, Tucson, AR ; grandchildren, Justin Begley, Michelle Munoz, Jesse Garretts, Amanda Fohey, Alexandra Maynard, Adam Morrall, Abigail Morrall, Rachel Morrall, and Trevor Morrall; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Eleanor Durham; and an infant sister.

Funeral services were held November 4, 2017 at the Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra. Rev. Kent Lewis officiated. Visitation was held prior to services.

Burial will be at Emerson Cemetery in Emerson, Missouri. The Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra is in charge of arrangements.
