WILLA BRONSTINE

Willa M. Bronstine, 83 of Canton, Missouri died July 13, 2017 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton. The daughter of Lester C. and Millie I. Billings Lipper was born on November 24, 1933 in Clark County, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Virgil Bronstine on September 23, 1951 at Kahoka, Missouri. Willa was a member of Keokuk Local 444 Rubber Workers Union and Local 444 Steel Workers Union. She liked to collect salt and pepper shakers, play cards sew and travel. She is survived by her husband Virgil Bronstine of Canton, Mo.; two sons, Rick (Chris) Bronstine of Hull, Illinois and Doug (Connie) Bronstine of Canton, Mo.; a daughter, Sandy (Gary) Powers of Canton, Mo.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters. Graveside memorial services were held July 17, 2017 in the Forest Grove Cemetery at Canton, Missouri with Rev. Brian Stone officiating. Memorials may be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home or American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are with Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton.
