Mr. Kenneth Ray Brown, 85, of rural Lewistown, Mo., died April 27, 2017 in the Country Aire Retirement Estates at Lewistown. Kenneth was born August 24, 1931 in Riverside Township, Illinois a son of Forrest Andrew and Lura Wardlow Brown.He married Mary Louise Puls in Ewing, Mo., on February 20, 1965. She survives. Mr. Brown was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church, past member of the Lewis County C-1 School Board and past member of the Lewis County Fair Board. Kenny was a lifelong Lewis County Farmer and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife Mary Louise of Lewistown; sons, Paul David Brown of Ewing, Mo.; and Troy Neil (Tracy) Brown of La Grange, Mo; daughters, Diane Louise (Jeff) Casebier of Canton, Mo., and Debbie Lynn (Dusty) Yates of Canton; sister, Bonnie Bronestine of Ewing; grandsons, Kegan Brown of Fulton, Mo., Dalton Brown of La Grange, Jacob Brown of Quincy, Ill., Michael and Bradley Casebier of Canton, Remington and Hunter Yates of Canton; granddaughters, Megan Brown of Columbia, Mo., and Sydney Casebier of Canton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, mother in law, Evalena Puls, father in law, Leslie Puls and brother in law, Wayne Bronestine. Funeral services were held May 2, 2017 at the Davis Funeral Home in La Grange with Rev. Nate Frazee officiating. Music: “My Old Man” by Zack Brown Band. Pallbearers: Ronnie Puls, Mike Bronestine, Don Brown, Charlie Mike Bringer, Don Yuraitis and Rick Jones. Visitation was held prior to services. Burial and Military Honors was in Memorial Cemetery in La Grange. The family suggests memorials be made to the Lewis County C-1 FFA. Online condolences may be made www.davis-fh.com
