LEEANETT NICHOLE HALL PHILLIPS

Leeanett Nichole (Hall) Phillips, 33, of LaBelle, Mo., died July 12, 2015, north of Lewistown, Mo. She was born December 21, 1981, in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Danny K. and Laura L. Turpin Hall.

She was united in marriage to David Phillips III on June 2007 in Ewing, MO and to this union one son was born Memphis Phillips.

Leeanett attended schools in LaBelle, Ewing and graduated from Highland High School. She received her Associates Degree from John Wood Community College and graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Tri-State area and worked with her mother in the Kennel business until she became the owner (C.C. Inc.). She loved horses and riding in pleasure classes and barrel racing events. She also loved softball and helping many 4-H kids. She was a member of the LaBelle Saddle Club, the Barrel Horse Association and the Missouri Pet Breeders Association. She attended the Baptist Church in LaBelle, Mo.

She is survived by her son Memphis of LaBelle, Mo., her mother Laura Hall of LaBelle, Mo., one brother Ricky Hall and wife Steff of Wentzville, Mo., one sister Lorie Bryan and husband Jimmy of Albuquerque, NM, nieces and nephews Danielle Strub, Tyler Hall, Caleb Strub, Baylee Bryan and Atticus Hamilton, several aunts, uncles and cousins along with her special pet friends Zoe, Dosie, Friendly, Gigi, Coco and Bogie.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo. Reverend Lance Bonnell will officiate the services.Casket bearers will be Brad Sharpe, Andrew Wiskirchen, Drew Barnett, Clint Turpin, Cody Turpin and Cole Turpin. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.
