DONALD 'DON' DAVIS

Donald “Don” Davis, 79, of Durham, November 24, 2016, in his home Don was born September 20, 1937 in Nelsonville, Missouri, the son of Oliver and Bessie Hoke Davis. He married Nancy Lee Wagner on February 21, 1959 in Taylor, Missouri. She survives. He graduated from Quincy Senior High School. Don served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a lifelong painter and had been employed at Johnson Painting. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Rhonda King of Durham, MO, Daniel (Kristy) Davis of Hannibal, MO, and Steve (Jaynie) Davis of Lithia, FL; ten grandchildren; and eight great -grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and four brothers. Services were held at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home Nov. 28, 2016 with Rev. Jeff Foster officiating.
