Olivia Jarvis was named the 10th-12th grade Student of the Month at Canton High School for the month of September. Olivia is the daughter of Darron and Heather Jarvis. She is a junior who is involved in National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Key Club, student council, softball, basketball, band, poms, and is a member of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Youth Group. She has received the Canton R-V Citizenship Award and been a Missouri Leadership Seminary nominee. Olivia has also been a highly decorated athlete. Her athletic accolades include: 1st Team All-District Pitcher, 1st Team All-Region Pitcher, 1st Team All-State Pitcher, 1st Team All-Area, Quincy Herald-Whig All-Area Team, WGEM Prep Athlete of the Week. She has been a member of two MSHSAA Final Four softball teams, and has advanced to the state FBLA contest in the field of accounting. After high school, Olivia plans to attend college to continue her softball career.
