WILLIAM CHARLES (BILLY) SEDELMEIER JR.

William Charles (Billy) Sedelmeier Jr., 57 of Maywood, Mo., died June 8, 2016 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

He was born March 28, 1959 in Quincy, Ill., a son of William C. and Marilyn L. Harris Sedelmeier Sr.

Billy was a farmer at heart and enjoyed this work all of his life. He also enjoyed anything John Deere, old things, hunting, tractors, coin collecting, Chevrolet and Windmills. Billy graduated from Highland High School in 1978 and was of the Catholic Faith. He was a member of the NRA.

Survivors include two sons, Shane Sedelmeier, Bethel, Mo., and Kent (Nicole) Sedelmeier, Oceanside, Calif.; sisters, Penny (Richard) Slawson of Holt Summit, Mo; Vicki Whitaker of Ewing, Mo; and Judy (Dennis) Lair, Ewing, Mo; brother, Gene (Barb) Sedelmeier.Ewing, Mo; two grandchildren, Tristan and Eliana Sedelmeier both of Oceanside, Calif; step mother, Esther Sedelmeier ofQuincy; step sisters, Sharon (Terry) Bolterman ,St. Louis, Terry (Jim) Schafinit, Quincy, Brenda Hudson, Shawnee, Kan., Melinda Bausano, Rochester, Ill.; step brother Randy Loscher, Quincy.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Loscher, father Bill Sedelmeier, step father Charles Loscher, brother John Sedelmeier, step sister Karen Welch and special friend Raymond Jones.

Funeral services were held June 11, 2016 at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Palmer officiating. Pallbearers: Shane Sedelmeier, Kent Sedelmeier, Aron Sedelmeier, Johnny Sedelmeier, Art Stutsman and Dale Smith. Music: recorded selections, Amazing Grace and Old Rugged Cross

Burial was in Queen of Peace Cemetery in Ewing.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Veterans Movement attention Brannon Knox or the charity of the Donor’s Choice in care of Ball-Davis Funeral Home, Ewing, Mo.
