Virgil “Keith “ Bishoff, 75, of LaBelle, Mo., died June 1, 2016, in Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Keith was born February 14, 1941, in Lewis County, Mo., a son of Roy and Pearl Hise Bishoff. He was a 1959 graduate of Williamstown High School, Williamstown, Mo.
He married Joyce Glasford on June 20, 1965, in the Providence Baptist Church in Williamstown, MO. To this union a son, Dale Keith Bishoff was born on April 1, 1968.
Keith served with the Illinois National Guard, 126th Supply and Service Company. Keith was honorably discharged in 1969, upon returning from Vietnam. He was a member of Ayer Boatman V.F.W. Post 4342 in Kahoka, Mo, the Deer Ridge Trail Riders and Missouri Long Riders.

Keith retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation after 41 years working in the Monticello shed, then the LaBelle shed. He spent his retirement enjoying time with friends, riding horses and working in his garden.

Surviving are one brother, Karl Bishoff of Canton, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 2005 and his son Dale in 1991, his parents, two brothers Kenneth and Karol, four sisters Donna Hudnut, Gynell Hudnut, Louise Ridgely, and an infant Frankie Bishoff.

Funeral services were held June 4, 2016, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo. Pastor Shawn McAfee officiated. Casket bearers were Steve Hudnut, Paul Hudnut, Richard Hudnut, Vernon Hudnut, Curtis Hudnut and Doug Lay. Honorary bearers were Deer Ridge Trail Riders.

Burial was in the Providence Cemetery at Williamstown, MO.
